Why the team matters more than any single specialist
A speech therapist who doesn't see how the child sits. An OT who doesn't know where it hurts. That is not how it works.
Rehabilitation is not a sum of isolated procedures. It is an intertwining: positioning affects breathing, breathing affects voice, voice affects speech.
At the centre the plan is set by a physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor, and the physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist and psychologist work towards shared goals. We discuss each child by name and change the plan when the child changes.
So when a family comes with several needs at once, we don't hand the child around. We solve them in one space, under one logic.
